Little Pilgrims Strong
Daily
Pilgrims, tread the stairway path to panoramic heights:
Top deck is bright, unparalleled, bouncy, alive.
Expectant,
have faith our illegal Jesus will arrive;
Await the odour that signifies a subtle appreciative shift.
Rastafarians
may have something in ganja use:
Vicarious mellow can be religiously absorbed. We drift
away
from the second pilgrimage. Sure, we'll alight at our allotted stop
But shut those windows! Until then, we have our borrowed God.
Prepared,
stressless now, children wander on.
Working awaits, until return, the stress-sucking smoke that keeps us
little pilgrims strong.
