Island from Isthmus
I
is an Isthmus
Joining Memory and Intent;
Future and Past.
Flood
one:
The continent of you and our family
Drifts alone.
This
hand recoils
Still tendons and muscles undone.
This
pier into eternity
Teaches me nothing.
I
is an isthmus
Stone drunk.
