Shropshire Myths Wish to know a bit more about Uricon, the ancient Roman city mentioned in A.E. Housman's On Wenlock Edge? Also known as Viriconium and situated in Shropshire near Shrewsbury (and the tourist village of Much Wenlock) - this web site plays the most atrocious music you are ever likely to hear in MIDI format, but is a mine of related trivia. http://www.mythstories.com/lostI.html
