Rhyme for Children

I am the seed that slept last night;
This morning I have grown upright.

Within my dream there was a king.
Now he had gone in the wide morning.

He had a queen, also a throne.
Waking, I find myself alone.

If I could have that dream again,
The seed should grow into a queen

And she should find at her right hand
A king to rule her heart and land:

And I would be the spring which burst
Beside their love and quenched their thirst.
