Many readers see the tarot as a means of focusing psychic insight as a kind of 'gateway to the soul' for the subject of the spread. Indeed, the tarot we know today is derived from a number of astrological and mythical traditions, and is full of magickal symbolism that makes it ideal for such focusing.

This means that any one card will have a different meaning every time it is read. Sometimes positive, sometimes negative. Sometimes representing a person, sometimes an event, sometimes a perception. And the meaning will alter according to how the card lies in a spread of cards, and how it interacts with all other cards around it.

In this way. a tarot spread becomes a multi-faceted picture of the events that are important in the subject's life, and act as an indicator to what the subject should pay close attention to in order to help identify the overall pattern of his or her life, and to identify what events and influences to look out for.

So if you are in need of guidance on your road ahead, or wish to gain some insight into the influences in your life, then a tarot reading can be a real help.

The skill of a tarot reader lies in the interpretation of a spread's symbology, in order to understand what is trying to be communicated.

Many think of the psychic world as being the same as the spiritual world, or the afterlife. Few of us have a clear insight into how true this is. But any person who deals in psychic matters understands that acting as a 'psychic bridge' brings us closer to the guiding hand that helps us on our journey through this existence.

It is my opinion that the tarot can be a good indicator to the influences in a subjects life. I do not believe that a person's life path is set out before them. It is a dynamic, evolving process - the whole of nature speaks this message to us clearly and emphatically. Thus, sources like the tarot can help us tap into this process and provide a deeper understanding than the surface issues would seem to indicate, but such an understanding does not predetermine what is to happen - it merely provides an understanding of the pivotal influences that guide our thoughts, our actions, and the possible consequences.

Of course, this does not give specific answers to questions like "Will I be a millionaire?" but may help to understand the influences in your life that could make it possible to attain such a goal.

It is very important that a subject is open to what a spread is saying. Often, a spread can seem bizarre or contradictory to a reader at first, but when explained to an open subject, the subject immediately understands what the spread is trying to communicate. In this way, the reader becomes a 'channel' for the tarot.

Thus a reading across the internet is as effective as a sitting with a reader. You are still getting an individual one - to - one reading. If you like, a reading at distance removes any possibility of a reader relying on what the subject is 'telling' him or her by body language, hidden questions etc. Whilst this is valuable as a means of 'psychic' counselling, for those who prefer an unbiased reading, absent sittings are ideal.

It would help if you could give an indication of the type of reading you require - e.g.

• A question - try to make it a 'what are the influences' type question rather than a 'how do I make my life better' type question. You will find that understanding the influences give you a clearer insight into your situation than asking for a step-by-step guide.
• A general reading - you may generally feel in need of , or feel drawn towards having a tarot reading. A general reading gives you insight into the factors leading up to your situation, the situation as it is, and the direction the situation looks likely to take, as well as the key influences and decisions. This reading is very comprehensive.
• A 'where am I' type reading. This gives an overview of where you are in the grand scheme of things. It gives a glimpse of where you stand with respect to how others see you, how you see yourself, what is important in your everyday life, and what guides you spiritually.

Generally, readings should reach you within seven days of your order. However, Please allow 28 days for delivery of the completed reading in case of technical difficulties or in case I'm away for a while.

The second is my own designed 'waterfall' spread which represents the life-force as it cascades from you at the top of the spread, to the past, present, future, and all the general, linking, psychological, and external influences therein. The spread is made up of twenty-one cards and it gives a really in-depth insight into the trends in your life.

The last spread is again of my own design, and represents the influences that seem to pull is in different directions, but when balanced actually deepen our understanding of ourselves and our place in the scheme of things. It is the 'radiant' spread, which has the subject at the centre, and eight cards surrounding the subject in a particular pattern to draw the influences from the querent in the centre.

I will provide an in-depth written analysis of each reading, and present the results in a word-processed format. You can have the reading sent to you as a printed copy in a presentation folder, or e:mailed to as a combination of an attached document in a format of your choice (typically Word format), or if you are not fussy about presentation, as a direct mail message.

Please be careful, as many people may not appreciate a tarot reading, and consider it an invasion of their privacy. It is always best to ask their permission first.

You may find that a reading for somebody else will speak more of your motives for wanting the spread to be done than of the person you are wanting to provide the reading for. This can be useful in its own right for exploring you relationship with that person.
