SpringLine Last Administration System written in Delphi. Keeps account of shoe last model details, specs for different clients, jobs for different clients, and client / rep details. Modularised password protection, week-by-week work scheduling, costing solution, quick reports, backup system, Sage backup solution, also help with 3D modelling package.
Applications Simon has written various applications, available for inspection and download from the web. Click on one of the list below to see more about each:
  • WordPuzzle Pro - Crossword Designer. Generates JavaScript & HTML files. Written in Delphi.
  • uPnMove - FTP application that uploads an entire web site to a server, or generates/uploads redirection pages to an old web site.
  • ArcTel - Telnet application with comprehensive scripting functionality, including FTP, Email and Print facilities.
  • Excel2Ingres - Takes data into Excel, and generates scripts to create appropriate tables for the Ingres database management system, and FTP them to the server. Can also read output files from Unix and create Excel spreadsheet tables from them.
  • LogAnalyzer - Takes a Microsoft SQL Server trace file (lists activity on the server from trace utility) and gives user facilities for viewing relevant sections according to a variety of criteria, and output the results to a CSV file, readable by Excel.
  • QuickCup - Java Integrated Development Environment designed to assist with the learning of the Java language and creating simple applets and applications. Used in my teaching of the Java language.

Another application is due for release later this year, and further releases of the above applications are planned.
Magazine Articles Had keen interest in ZX81 and Amstrad PCW in my teens, which lead to my running a ZX81 user club for around three years, and publishing of various articles / applications, including:-
