News from JoAnn B of the Helpers' Network US for fans of Beauty and the Beast...

I saw this flyer at the Orlando con and got permission from the person who put it out to publicize it online:

Chicken Soup for the Beauty and the Beast Fan's Soul

It hit me one day as I was browsing through the bookstore and came upon a whole section of the popular "Chicken Soup" books...No topic they could ever come up with could possibly be more uplifting than OUR SHOW!  We've all heard stories, we all have stories about how B&B has touched our lives in a positive way.  Whether you are a long time fan or a new one, I thought it would be wonderful to compile all of our best stories in one very special volume to be shared and enjoyed for years to come.

This will be a Classic B&B fanzine, but stories relating to other B&B versions-such as Disney's-are welcome too.  Stories should be typed with an average length of about 5-7 pages, but they can be much shorter. Content can range from heartwarming, to inspiring, to just plain silly.
If you would like to share one (or more) of your stories, I would love to hear from you. Tentative publication date is July 2003.

Of course, it's also another way to stay "in touch" even if you ARE online! If you know of a fan who is not online, please pass this info on to him or her:

The newsletter is published four times a year, and it costs $18 for a one-year subscription (in the U.S.). To send money to Pat, or to contact her for more information, write:
