OK, we are very excited about our future, and have set several important events in motion...Huge events like Vegas, and small regional events, and continuing to bring huge spectaculars to our favorite cities (Like Chicago and Boston)...So, be sure to read over this update, and check our website...often!
Big things are happening, and we are very excited about 2002!
First, as promised, our Las Vegas convention is becoming the destination convention for the year! If you are only traveling to one show...come to Vegas! It's going to be incredible...We are no where near finished with our guest list yet, but we have confirmed more than a dozen guests...Headliners like Avery Brooks, William Shatner and Connor Trinneer are going to be joined for the first ever convention appearances by...
JOLENE BLALOCK...T'Pol from Enterprise
and
RON PERLMAN
...The Romulan Viceroy (THE villain from Star Trek: Nemesis, as well as Vincent from the classic Beauty and the Beast series)! These guests, combined with Ricardo Montalban, Michael Dorn, Nicole DeBoer, Bob Picardo, Ethan Phillips, James Darren, Garrett Wang, JG Hertzler and Robert O'Reilly...Plus more to be announced make this the must do show for 2002. We are very excited to bring big names, first timers and some of the most fan friendly stars to our signature event...The anniversary weekend in Las Vegas...
And now, we are going to announce our final prices...We have already set a premium VIP package price of 500. That price is staying the same, and will feature up front seating, as well as books and CD's from the stars, private signings for those books, in-person autographs from William Shatner, Dinner Theatre, a concert from James Darren, Enterprise Cast shot pre-signed by Jolene and Connor and more stuff to come...That price is set in stone, and will not go up. However, we have lowered the number of these available from 500 to only 300. We have sold more than 100 so far, and we will sell out of these!
But we also have many different packages available, the best is going to have a price increase on February 20, 2002. Right now, you can buy a weekend reserved seat ticket for only $200...sure, a lot of money, but look at what you get...Premium seating, (behind the VIP people), Autographs from EVERYONE...Pre-signed photos available from Ricardo Montalban and William Shatner (sold to you for the cost of the photo...$6 each), In-person autographs from
AVERY BROOKS, JOLENE BLALOCK, RON PERLMAN, CONNOR TRINNEER, NICOLE DeBoer, and bunches more (and remember, we aren't done yet), and admission to our Friday night Theatre show FREE, featuring Garret Wang, JG Hertzler and Robert O'Reilly. Sure, $200 is a lot, but remember, we include autographs from all our stars at no additional fees (you do have to provide what the star will be signing)! Remember, we host Friday night Theatre show for FREE, remember! , we bring in the "new" guests that you haven't seen, and make sure that these hard to get stars are signing in-person for all Reserved seat fans! Don't be fooled by the real thing imitators...We are giving fans a reason to travel...Don't miss out on this huge bargain...Right now, the price is $200...We are warning our friends on our Internet mailing list that on the 20th of February, the price will increase to $250...Buy now, make your plans now, and get excited!Las Vegas
Next...El Paso Texas...We have added a new convention city to our growing list of areas...El Paso Texas! El Paso is the home town of Gene Roddenberry! The local planetarium is being renamed and dedicated as the Gene Roddenberry Memorial Planetarium, and we are bringing some of our favorite Star Trek guests to help with the dedication, and attend an exciting convention, sure to attract thousands...Nicole DeBoer, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis and Robert Picardo, Ethan Phillips will attend...Admission is an amazing...$10 a day! Put this on your calendar, and make your plans now!
El Paso, TX
And finally, something to look for next week...We are in the final stages of confirming a dream of Jackie's and mine. We are returning to the days of smaller markets, with an introductory price of only $10. We can confirm Marina Sirtis, Aron Eisenberg and Apollo Astronaut Richard Gordon are invited, and we are in the process of getting contracts together, these three will attend 6 cities in 6 days. This is an experiment that we hope will succeed in bringing new people to an exciting evening of Science Fiction and Science fact...We have selected the Midwest as our experimental area...Minneapolis (area) on Tuesday: April 23, Des Moines, IA on Wednesday: Davenport, IA on Thursday; Rockford, IL on Friday, Springfield, IL on Saturday, and after a three year absence, we are returning to St. Louis, MO on Saturday, April 28.
