NAN DIBBLE'S HOTLINE UPDATE -
29th April 2001

This is the news for April 29 from Nan Dibble and Helpers' Network Hotline
for fans of Beauty and the Beast. To contact me by e-mail, post to
ndibble@fuse.net. To stop (or to begin) receiving updates as e-mail, notify
me at the above e-mail address. To reach me by phone (evenings/weekends),
call (513) 961-4813.The Helpers' Network website is at http://home.fuse.net/helpnet.

I have realized that Rat isn't the same as Rats. The move "Rat," freshly
out, is set in Ireland, concerns a man turning into a rat, and Ron Perlman
isn't among the cast. The rest of the cast differs, as well, from the
account offered by Helper Pat Paone. Moreover, "Rats," the movie about
which Pat gave brief details, is currently filming, not out. I mention this
lest you be confused. Rats!

Helper Avril Bowles offers this welcome update on the current projects of
Edward Albert. Thanks, Avril! His pairing with Ron in Night Class sounds
especially tasty!

NIGHT CLASS - feature film, theatrical release. With Ron Perlman, Sean
Young, John Saxon, etc. Thriller/caper/who-done-it with a great big
surprise twist at the end. Note: Edward tells me one of the pleasures of
this movie was working with Ron P again;  he always enjoys the camaraderie
on a film set, and especially working with old friends.

EXTREME HONOR - theatrical feature.

MIMIC II - sequel to Mira Sorvino starrer, battling six-foot tall mutant
cockroaches.

ADOBE STATION (aka STAGEGHOST) - a western.   Edward plays the sheriff,
drove a stage coach (four-in-hand), which he loved doing, shot it out with
the bad guys and 'parlayed' with the Indians.

POWER RANGERS: TIMEFORCE - an on-the-air TV series. Edward has a recurring
role as the father of the Red Ranger (I think it's Red). An action/fantasy
show for kids, with the good guys battling the forces of intergalactic evil.

Here are the Sightings for the coming week. By using and searching the
listings on the TV Guide website (http://www.tvguide.com), I've been able
to carry Sightings for a full 7-day week. Hope that will let you catch
items of interest you might otherwise have missed. I'll continue to do that
in weeks to come. Incidentally, what was The Nashville Network (where Mag 7
airs) has become The National Network, and the URL of their website is no
longer good. Rather than try to locate it, I checked their listings at the
TV Guide website instead. The printed TV Guide says there's a Mag 7 episode
next Wednesday night; the online sources say not. Rather than miss one,
I've listed it, but that may not be correct.

Helper/Correspondent Maxine Mayer is vacationing, so any omissions are
entirely my fault.

and the Beast alive however we can. Beast wishes, be well, and goodbye.
