Marsha Young is offering her Beauty and the Beast zine collection for
auction sale on Ebay. Says Martha, "There are some real classics in it.
These zines will be popping up on Ebay over the next few days. I'm sure
there are a lot of newer fans who would love to get their hands on Kathy
Cox's Destiny series, Cynthia Hatch's stories, artwork by Barb Gipson, Beth
Blighton, Sue Krinard and others. My auctions are under inkyuni as the
seller, and the titles read "Beauty and the Beast zines-Vincent!" to help
in searches. It takes me quite a while to list each zine, so checking back
for the next few days would be a good idea."

If you have questions, you can reach Marsha at QPGyrl@aol.com or at
inkyuni@aol.com.

Inasmuch as this is a timely item, I wanted to pass it along to you as
quickly as possible.

TunnelCon III Conzine. Conzine from the 1994 Beauty and the Beast
convention in Las Vegas. The Q-fer says: ".... The lead-off story, "In
Another Year" by Cynthia Hatch, is child C's troubled and seemingly random
nighttime musings on her unfulfilled desire for a pony...or some other
animal [the reviewer's italics]...who would be her best friend, always
sympathetic and protective, during what the reader gradually realizes (and
the child doesn't) is C's mother's final illness. An ambiguous and
masterfully handled stream-of-consciousness collage. Sara Conklin's "The
Street Where You Live" tells of one veteran street dweller's attempt to
protect another, an infant, with implied comparisons to V's own beginnings.
Wayne Kelley's "A Gypsy Never Forgets" is a story of further developments
with Tony Ramos. In Becky Bain's "Green-Eyed," Lisa returns and C's
suppressed...and not so suppressed...hostility is complicated by Geoffrey's
puppy-love crush. In Ann R. Brown's "Ich Liebe Dich," William prepares a
special Winterfest banquet of sauerbraten for his German sweetheart, Heidi.
Betty Neiswender's "Jurassic Park Central," a fact-based story, has tunnel
dwellers discover the dinosaur statues buried by a hostile bygone city
administration in Central Park...to the delight of young Daniel, the most
dedicated of dinosaur-fans. Other contributors include Margaret Davis, Sara
M. Conklin, Nancy Mastandrea, Lynette Combs, Helen Commodore, Linda Mooney,
Catherine Edwards, Anna & Wayne Kelley, Peggy Garvin, Rebecca Marcus, Ben
Russell, Sherry Anne Sanfilippo (with a tale of the Vincenti), and Sally
Wright (with an SF sequel to her Hold Fast the Dream). Art by Anna Kelley,
Pam Tuck, Dragon, Sandy Chandler Shelton, Phyllis Berwick, Shirley Leonard,
Lynette Combs, Ben Rossell, P. S. Nim, Kriss Farver, Colby Pfeil." 130
pages +, 8 1/2 x 11 format. $4.00 domestic shipping, contact seller for
international shipping. Auction ends June 18, 2000.

Thank you and happy bidding!
