Helper Kathy Battershell kindly updates the airings of Linda Hamilton's new
movie, "Sex & Mrs. X":
Sex and Mrs. X will be on Sun the 16th at 3PM CDT and Wed the 19th at 8PM
CDT on Lifetime. Thanks, Kathy!

Happy, happy birthday to Ron Perlman on April 13, as I was thoughtfully
reminded by Helper Marion Kozlowski. He's turned 50! Hard to imagine. But
Vincent never ages, so as we all dodder to see the premiere of the B&B
movie in the lounge of the B&B fan's communal retirement home, tastefully
decorated with brick walls with strategic gaps and pipes everywhere, we can
be assured that that voice, and that face, will still be forever as we've
come to know and love them.

Helper/Correspondent Darlene Sullivan passes along the following news:

On 4/10/00, Entertainment Tonight and Showbiz CNN presented feature stories
about Richard Roundtree's (Private Detective Cleon Manning in various B&B
episodes) successful battle with breast cancer. Seven years ago a biopsy of
a small lump on Roundtree's breast was diagnosed as malignant.
Approximately 1,200-1,500 men are diagnosed with breast cancer annually.
The actor went through surgery and chemotherapy and now he has been
pronounced as fully recovered. Roundtree waited all this time to make his
experience public because remaining clear of further symptoms for a period
of seven years indicates a successful recovery. He will remain watchful for
any reoccurrence and hopes revealing his illness will encourage other men
to seek medical advice quickly for any lumps they may discover. Roundtree
will receive the Gift of Life Award from the Magic Johnson Foundation.
Unfortunately, the date of the event was not given.

Robert Pastorelli (Tony Perotta in "An Impossible Silence" and Vic Ramos in
"Everything is Everything") has been pretty much out of the Hollywood
limelight since the tragic death of his wife. He was listed in the cast of
the theatrical film "Bait" in October 1999 and was occasionally seen at
various charity events. Now, Variety 3/23/00 announces that Pastorelli and
actress Glenn Close have joined forces to form Father Lucky Productions, a
company they've set up with HBO to develop and produce a series of one-hour
dramas to be performed live.

They met while acting in the CBS TV movie "The Ballad of Lucy Whipple."
They will co-produce the pieces, and will start by commissioning four
dramas, each ranging between 60 and 75 minutes. They will now approach
writers from stage, screen, tube and novels and will gather repertory-style
teams of directors, actors, designers and technicians for the challenge of
doing live TV.

Here's the update from the LA2K ConCom. (Since I fowarded on the update
concerning the auctions immediately upon receiving it, there are no
auctions to add in this update.)

Greetings, Beauty and the Beast Fans!

We are pleased to announce that JAMIE MURRAY and MYHR will be our Masters
of Ceremony at "A Distant Shore II: Remember Love". As most of you know,
Jamie and Myhr have been entertaining the troops for 8 years now - a Beauty
and the Beast convention would not be the same without them!

Our first confirmed celebrity guest is four-time Emmy winning composer LEE
HOLDRIDGE. Mr. Holdridge's Emmy awards include one for the background score
for the pilot for "Beauty And The Beast" and one for the song "The First
Time I Loved Forever". This will be Mr. Holdridge's first Beauty and the
Beast convention and we are thrilled that he has agreed to attend. Meet the
man who created the music that swept us away!

Also, JAMES AVERY (Winslow) has expressed interest in attending and we are
currently talking to his publicist.

I have an oops to correct-unfortunately not the first and undoubtedly not
the last. In last week's update, Helper Judy Adams commented, "Is there
anything that hasn't been done yet that the fans would like to see on a web
page? If I can't do it, perhaps someone else can!" In telling those
interested how to contact her with ideas, I gave her edress wrong, and have
corrected it on the web page. For your future reference, Judy's e-mail
address is humbug@unforgettable.com. Sorry if my mistake caused any posts
to go awry, and I apologize to Judy for my misinformation.

B&B fan Kayla Rigney posts that she's looking for the 'zines "Voices
Unheard 1 & 2" and "Voices Unheard 3." Any help or leads would be
appreciated. If you'd like to help her with her search, you can post her at
