An announcement from Michelle (Shelly) Ayres that she has almost 1,000 color
slides from the show (presumably screen captures) mounted in plastic sheet
protectors & labeled by episode. Shelly says, "Most are of very good
quality; all are in excellent condition. I want to sell them as a collection,
mounted in the sleeves, and my asking price for all would be $100 postpaid. Will
be happy to provide additional info via Email."

From Robin Schindler (kindly relayed by Helper Lisa Bock):
On Monday, March 20 (that's THIS COMING MONDAY!) Bruce Abbott will be guest
starring on the CBS series, "Family Law". Yes, this marks the first
time since 1989's "Trapped" cable movie that Bruce has had the chance
to act with Kathleen Quinlan (who is of course "Mrs. Abbott"), and
it's a must-see. It airs at 10 PM on the East and West Coasts, at 9 PM in the
Central Time Zone, and who-knows-when in the Rocky Mountain Zone (9 PM maybe?).
I was fortunate enough to visit the set for part of filming (and thank you, my
friends who made it possible!) and I can tell you, it promises to be a
provocative showcase of the incredible talents of Bruce and Kathleen both.
And, while we're on the subject, if I haven't filled you in on this yet, make
sure that you pick up the March issue of "In Style" Magazine, which
features the single best interview with Bruce and Kathleen that I've ever seen.
(And that house of theirs isn't bad either.)
I hope everyone has a chance to tune in on Monday night. "Family Law"
is a dandy show that I've been watching since it first came on the air last
September, and IMHO it's been getting better and better all season.
Thanks for listening, and even more thanks for WATCHING. You'll be glad you did!
Robin Schindler

A bit of expansion of this item is offered by Helper/Correspondent Darlene
Sullivan: "Bruce Abbott (Devin, father's son) will join his wife, Kathy
Quinlan, in the cast of her TV show, "Family Law," seen Monday nights
on CBS. Quinlan made the announcement on March 16 when the entire cast guested
on the Donny and Marie daytime talk show. Whether Abbott will be seen this
season or next was not mentioned. Reruns of Abbott's TV series, "Dark
Justice" continue Monday-Friday afternoons on TNT."
Darlene adds, as a relay from Gwen Lord: "B&B recently returned for a
brief run on British TV. Channel 5 announced it would run B&B for 12 days,
beginning on March 6, at 10:15 a.m. That was the initial schedule but there may
have been schedule changes when the show began actually airing."
Thanks, Darlene!

From the LA2K ConCom, several items:
Greetings, Beauty and the Beast fans.
We have started FIVE new auctions!
It's time to get serious, folks. We need to raise money for the convention!
As we have told you, the auctions we are conducting are to raise money solely to
pay for celebrities at the convention. The more money we raise, the better
chance YOU have to see many stars from the show.
The items up now (only two days left for bidding!) are:
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=283497900 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Authentic Costume #2". Vincent sweater
(zippered down back as to not interfere with makeup). Oatmeal cable knit with
leather fur collar. Male size (approximately) XL. An authentic Judy Evans
costume from the show. In 1996, just before she left Witt-Thomas, Judy Evans
rescued dozens of her B&B costumes from storage that would otherwise have
been trashed. Remembering full well that there was a vibrant fandom, she sought
fandom out and donated the costumes. Clothing racks were subsequently built for
them and storage lockers rented. This costs money. But still, as of now, most of
the costumes are still on hand. Some will continue to be kept, others have been
(and/or will be) donated to charity auctions, and a few are being auctioned here
in order to raise money to bring stars to the 2000 convention, where fans will
also be able to see many other Judy Evans costumes, and where more money will be
raised for charity.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=283504968 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Stained Glass Vincent". One of a kind stained
glass Vincent (from the 1987-90 hit CBS series, Beauty and the Beast, starring
Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton). Entitled "Blue Eyes" by Susan Smith,
approximately 13" x 17" with wood frame. Photo does not do this piece
justice.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=283516839 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV A Child Was Born Zine". "A Child Was
Born", a Beauty and the Beast zine by K. Kimberly Prosser and Lisa Swope.
Dated December, 1988, 82 pages, Classic V/C. Q-fer rated "One of the first
and still the best return of Vincent's mother stories, beautifully written. V
& mom's discussion/dissection of "Cyrano" is particularly acute
and appealing." Good condition.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=283523664 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Chronicler's Zine". "The Chronicler's
Tales", a Beauty and the Beast Classic/Third Season anthology zine edited
by Kristy Effinger and Reggie Beck; features stories by Reggie Beck, Toni
Bogolub, Kristy Effinger, Linda Mooney, Leora Effinger & Marilyn Oakvik and

"Beauty and the Beast TV Threshold To Dreams". "Threshold To
Dreams II", a Beauty and the Beast zine edited by MariLynn. Classic/SND
with stories and poetry by Sue Krinard, Sharon Wells, Linda Mooney, Kay Simon,
Debbie Ristick, Roxanne Koogler and others, art by Sue Krinard, Mary Ellen
Nicosia, Pam Tuck and others. Dated 1992, 127 pages. Great condition.

Dear Beauty and the Beast Fans:
We have started FOUR new auctions!
As we have told you, the auctions we are conducting are to raise money solely to
pay for celebrities at the convention. The more money we raise, the better
chance YOU have to see many stars from the show.

http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=286668490 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Authentic Costume #3". Samantha's (actress

written on collar. Great looking piece! Female size (approximately) medium.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=286669009 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Better Worse Script" signed and numbered
(#31) by Coordinating Producer David Schwartz. "For Better or Worse"
was a script written by David Schwartz, Ron Perlman and their partner, Alan
Smithee. It was pitched to series Creator Ron Koslow and shelved for a possible
later date which never came due to the cancellation. Sorry about the bad scan.
It reads" BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: "For Better Or Worse" Teleplay by
Alan Smithee. Copyright 1988. David's signature is in lower left corner. Great
condition.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=286669425 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Terrible Angel Script". Actual script from
the show - draft dated August 3, 1987. Was later aired as Terrible Savior
(episode #2). Possibly has dialog and scenes not heard or seen in the final
episode. Not a copy! Great condition.
http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=286670121 entitled
"Beauty and the Beast TV Life Without Zine". "A Life Without
Limits" anthology zine edited by Margaret Davis. From 1990, rated PG, 8 1/2
x 11, 214 pages. Q-fer says: "Stories centered on the premise that, after
the Trilogy, Vincent and Catherine fall asleep in his chamber and have a series
of dreams. Lions figure prominently in two; one is a Regency romance with manor
houses; one is Egyptian, with Catherine presented to the new pharaoh,
lion-headed V. You get the idea. Stories are all competently done and quite
uniform in quality." Stories and poems by Margaret Davis, Gina Alkazian,
Beth Druhan, Lucy Green, Roxanne Koogler, MariLynn (who is now a multi-published
author of romance and romantic suspense novels), Linda Mooney, Kay Simon, Sharon
Wells and others. Lots of art by Phyllis Berwick Dragon, Barb Gipson, Judy Ley,
Rita Terrell, Holly Riedel, Star and many others. Good condition.
Thank you and happy bidding!
