Special Notes / Trivia
| This was the first of the "Great Monday Night" experiments tried by CBS. The result was a miserable failure - causing one of the finest episodes of the series to be missed by many viewers. The following episode also aired on a Monday night; then CBS admitted its mistake, preempted the show for a week, then returned it to its Friday "Bermuda Triangle" timeslot. This sequence of moves is generally regarded to have been the triggering events to the decline and eventual near-cancellation of Beauty and the Beast |
