Foreword
This marks the final edition of this work, short of outright purchase and publication by another publishing company. Now that time has allowed a full and painstaking search for the errant incorrect letter, the misplaced comma, the misspelled word or ill-used phrase, I can now safely assure the reader that of the 165,000 words in this book, it will be difficult to find a single spelling error. Of course, I am sure that I have now inspired legions of eagle-eyed readers to a task worthy of Hercules and the Augean Stables!
Any and all future revisions, additions, or extention of this work will be found in the Beauty and the Beast Companion Quarterly Update Series, information about which can be found in the introduction which follows.
A project of this magnitude is rarely completed without significant cooperation, assistance and support from family, friends and interested parties outside the immediate sphere of the author. It would be impossible for me to thank each and every person who contributed to this book -- some in small ways -- some in large. Suffice it to say that I thanks everyone who made contributions to the accuracy and readability of this work.
Special thanks are due to three individuals, whose efforts rose above mere assistance and approached the level of corroboration. Their labors extended so far as to proofreading entire seasons of episodes in a matter of days and then reading the same material again for clarity and content! My special thanks go out to Eileen Parkman, Fran Westerfield, and Nancy Merckle. Very special thanks are extended to Paul Vitaris and to Maureen Highkin -- two friends whose words of disagreement forced me to reexamine many viewpoints from a loftier plateau. Across the miles and the months, I sought their counsel. They selflessly gave more of themselves than I had a right to hope or expect.
Finally, thank you Mom, for calling me that Friday night and saying "... Get CBS quick!" Your words and the boject of their excitement have changed my life for the better.
