If clicking on a clue selects it on the grid, try holding down the Ctrl key whilst clicking. You will be taken automatically to this screen, to the appropriate clue. This screen lists the clues available, and where they link up to the grid, you'll see the clue number against the clue.
Click on a different clue, and the selection on the grid will follow suite. It's a 2-way thing.
Spaces are created automatically for you in the clue lists to fit with the grid. If the space on the grid has a word in, this will too be automatically filled in for you. So just fill in the clue, and away you go!

In this example, you can see that the answer (TENDER-HEARTED) is on two places on the grid. No problem! The computer tracks this for you. And creating multi-part clues like this is a breeze!
