Different types of puzzle can be combined for maximum creative potential. In this example, letters are coded (e.g. All Os have a square marked 2 etc.) - automatically numbered by the computer - The print options are such that a list of words by word size will be printed, to enable the puzzler to get the yellow pillars down either side. Clues are shown within grid squares with arrows pointing to the answer space to give further clues, as a straightforward arrow-words. A combination of these will allow the puzzler to fill out the answer grid at the bottom of the page, which means the answer (RAG DOLL) can be deduced from the letter codes. Another clue is the pictures that are shown tiled and overlayed at the top of the grid. Note that in this example, the image is stored with the puzzle file once only, so you can reuse the image indefinitely without creating a huge file! Include images with your file is a great if you wish to e:mail it in distributable format to a friend or post it to a web site or newsgroup.
The properties dialog can be used to customize the settings for individual squares on the grid in a variety of ways, from one easy-to-use place. If it seems complex, don't worry. It's all explained in the comprehensive HTML-based help, and you only need to use what is applicable to you.
