This refers to v1.3 of the Freeware version of the software application "QuickCup" for Java Development.
The application is intended as a quick and easy-to-use development environment to work in conjunction with Sun's Java Development Kit (JDK) which can be downloaded separately from http://www.java.sun.com/j2se/ for the standard edition or http://www.java.sun.com/j2ee/ for the enterprise edition.
It is written by Simon Huggins, and the copyright is held by Arctan Computer Ventures Ltd. It is freely distributable (but cannot be distributed for profit) and costs nothing to license, according to the copyright agreement.
"QuickCup" is written in Delphi for 32-bit operating systems (Win9X,Me,2xxx,NT). It operates satisfactorily on any Pentium-class PC, and is especially suitable for smaller projects that are less forms-based, such as Applet development.
