If you would like to take your first steps into learning the Java programming language, so that you can create your own applets and applications, you will find QuickCup can fast-track your learning, especially when used in conjunction with the on-line training course (see link below).

And what's more, QuickCup is free to download. You can also register the software as there will be frequent updates - again for free. Note, you will need to download the Java SDK from http://www.java.sun.com/j2se to give you access to the latest Java functionality.

QuickCup has integrated source editing and project management, with single button-clicks to Compile and Test your web page and applet/application.

New features include auto-setup, improved help on installing Java SDK, Help Menu links to Java Documentation, and pop-up menu of SDK versions available.

VERSION 2.0rel1 now available for download, as from 24th May 2002
