The following is a brief list of some of the intended additions and changes in prior and current versions:-
Option to paste clipboard text to session window (as if typing it in at the keyboard)
Debug option to run from the current cursor position within the script.
Immediate command execution option
MRU (Most-Recently-Used) file lists show the last five script and log files opened for quick access
Options under Connection menu now work when clicked in terminal window.
All clipboard commands now available from submenu off Script menu - Cut, Copy, Paste, Select All, and Clear.
Insert CryptString now uses Shift+Ctrl+C as shortcut.
New date / time macros: DATESTAMP, NOW to give decimal value, FORMATDATE to format date to specific format, including month names and day of week.
TRIGGER command has new STOP / WAIT option so program stops until a trigger is activated (so don't have to put a STOP command on the following line).
Extension to LIST functionality - new LIST macro returns list as a string, also LISTLINE to extract a line from the list and LISTLINES to get the number of lines in the list. All lists can now DELETE or INSERT lines from / into the list at a specific line number. Can also specify the delimiter for dealing with multiple lines from a single LIST line.
CALC macro now has a modulus operator for finding remainders.
ROUND and TRUNC functions introduced for rounding real numbers either to the nearest whole number or towards zero respectively.
CHAR ZOOM and LINE ZOOM commands can be stated either as a value of 1 or 100% for normal size etc. Generated commands are now output in percentage format.
Bug fixes: Macros are no longer evaluated within comment lines, and also fixed problem (especially with disconnecting) giving infinite loop on connection-related commands.
SMTP Email options. Email from your script. Create an email (multiple attached files possible), include text from external files in the body of the email, and send to multiple recipients. Choose your reply address.
Find / Replace options for scripting
Options to print the script with line numbers, or print a selection of the telnet session window
Goto line number option. When an error occurs, that script line is automatically highlighted.
Build up an array of text lines within a script to SAVE/LOAD/PRINT.
Print file contents from within a script, or the contents of the standard list
Select All menu option to select whole of script
New "SET" parameter to pass data from outside Arctel directly into a variable to be used from a script.
Trial screen updated to include current URL, and also disappears straight away when unlock code entered.
Latest version of F.Piette's FTP, Telnet and SMTP components utilised.
ELSE / ELSIF constructs introduced to scripting.
TEXTPOS macro to find positions of substring within a string.
Latest version of F.Piette's FTP component utilised.
HTML Help expanded and improved. Split into multiple pages and visually improved.
